Guest guest
Hi, This is Margie again. I'm new to this and so I have alot of questions. I swear i feel like such a hypochondriac. I was told I had Chiari, by my nsg, then he ordered another one and on that one is wasn't so clear. After being in this group, I realize this is common. Unfortunately, he's ordered an EMG and SSEP for two weeks from now and then the nsg will see me two weeks from then. I guess he's very busy. However, I have lots of symptoms and spend most of my time in bed. Now heres the question. Do some of the symptoms come on very fast? Although I have had tingling and numbness in my right arm, this morning it is much worse. Also I have never had tingling in my foot until this morning and my legs just feel weak, I feel as if I just cam in from a long run. Could this come on this fast or am I just over stressing? Haven't been able to get hold of my regular doctor today although I am trying. I've also contacted one of the suggested doctors on the list we have, he can see me in a week but I have to have a referal from another dr. So that's what I am trying to do. This is so frustrating, I just want to sit here and cry. I have Xanax but I am tired of taking it. I just want to feel better! Any comment would be appreciated. Thanks
Guest guest
Carol, That is quite common. The water not making you make as many trips to the bathroom after several days. Or at least it is with me. As to why I don't know the reason I am just thankful for it and leave it at that. ;o) Cheryl Ü
Guest guest
Carol, It could be that now your body has adjusted to the increased water and just knows how to handle it better. Do you feel puffy? If not, then you probably aren't retaining the water. You may notice that on days when you have more caffeine than others, you might lose more fluid. All the more important on those days to drink even extra water. Don't know if this helps at all, but you certainly aren't stupid for asking. Maybe someone will have more information how this all works and will be able to enlighten us both! Terry
Guest guest
Carol, I can't really tell because My weight really does not change that much. I cannot figure it out because my body keeps melting but the scale just inches along. I only weigh on saturday mornings. My now size 14 jeans are getting baggy but the scale just stays the same. How do figure that one out??????? Laverne
