I did at one time for about two years. I found her in the ads

in a local parents magazine under piano lessons for DD kids.

I would also recommend you try the local university or college

with a good music program. That's the easiest/cheapest way

to find what you need.

We would have stayed with it if they hadn't needed more

space and bumped us for more of a disability. I think I

was paying $20 an hour, which is real good. When she

affiliated with the university, though, they told her to

adjust her clientele, and she needed kids with more

severe problems, so we were bumped.

I looked into piano lessons with a pro friend?

OMG they were $30 for a half hour! What a racket.

If you can get music lessons with someone that

can work with your child for a good price, do it.

It may be better than Music Therapy.

Are you talking about music therapy or AIT?

Wonderful!!! I will be calling in January to set up an appointment for

auditory integration therapy. It is very costly though. There is a good

center in Madison that does this. I contacted them last month and have been

thinking about how I will pay for this since then....still don't really

know, but I am hoping my health insurance will cover some as they bill it as

OT or ST.
