Guest guest
Hi Cyn, Don't worry about moaning. I do it all the time. I think it comes with the territory. For me to have a shower I have to rest all day to get my strength back enough. I hope you are feeling better soon. {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} Norma -- Just wanted to moan a bit.... Just feeling down....feeling like I can't do anything right or at all. If the fibro-fog isn't acting up then its the pain or I can't use my hands cause they lock up. I feel like I am not capable of doing anything more than feeling I can accomplish something. Went to dinner tonight for my boyfriends birthday and I tried my best to act like I felt OK when I felt lousy. I get tired of hearing myself say I don't feel well everytime he asks me, so I started saying I am fine even when I am not fine. Oh well.....thank you so much for letting me moan a bit. I appreciate you're listening to me.Dawn1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
Thanks Norma!! Today is a day I feel normal, actually pretty good, and when I'm feeling good I think that maybe I don't really have fibro, and my aches and pains are just from not getting enough exercise. Does anyone else ever feel that way? HUGS cyn At 08:55 PM 11/6/2004 -0800, Closson's wrote: Hi Cyn, Don't worry about moaning. I do it all the time. I think it comes with the territory. Guest guest
I get that too Cyn. Some days I feel fine, in fact borderline great and then I stop and think maybe I don't really have FM.. maybe it's just a problem with my muscles that don't get enough exercise... Then BAMN... IBS kicks in... or I don't get any sleep at all... or a flare kicks in. I keep testing myself on my good days by pressing the tender points and they remind me that ... YES... they're still alive and willing to give me pain so stop pressing me. I know for a fact that I don't have the degree of really bad FM that some here have. I know that I can't work as my good days are few and far between... but it's good to know that I can still have them. I think if it wasn't for a lot of other problems that are with the FM, I'd be ok to work part time. But as most of us know... FM rarely seems to be alone... it seems there are always other complications or illnesses that like to keep Fibro company :-( However I have noticed a dramatic improvement with exercise, stretching, and massage. This coming from one of the laziest people on the planet and one who absolutely hates exercise or sweating. It still shocks me to hear myself say that I'm looking forward to going to the pool for a little exercise... Wow... that just can't be me saying that. Oh well... life is change and we have to accept it. Well... I'm off to see my osteopath for a little work on my hip and leg. Later today I also have acupuncture, so I won't be back until later today. Hugs to everyone and wishing as pain free a day as possible. gentle healing hugs, Norah Norah Bleazard - Burlington, Ontario Canada www.bleazard.net ~ www.janorlites.com E-MAIL= norah.fibroyahoo@...
