Guest guest
I've noticed a lot of talk about anal fissures lately. I get those too, what my doctor has me using (after trying a few things that didnt work) is prescription strength Anusol cream. I dont use the little applicator squirty thingy, I put about a half an inch on my finger and apply it directly on the fissure instead of inside the rectum. I use this year round whenever needed. It does help! I have had fewer fissures this year, and when I have had them, the anusol has helped, and they heal faster. Another thought. My specialist has told me that the fissures are another symptom of the atrophic vaginitis/lichen sclerosus aspect of my vestibulitis. The decrease in fissure frequecy this year may have something to do with the estrogen replacement we have been doing to the area. Bunny /| |\ . .
