Do you mean from my very first labs? If so, that was before I started h.c and Armour, just getting a baseline fot future comparison. I was waaaaaaaaay over with the 24-hour urine though Val which is said to show what is in the cells? These were done on 2 grains and 20 mg h.c and I raised to 2 1.4 grains same day after the test. That is a week ago. I don't know the intricacies of this, it is what Hertoghe uses so that is why I thought it was agood option. I don't think thyroid saliva is available here and if it is I was not aware of it. I really wanted to double-check the GP's blood test. To be sure, to be sure, to be sure as they say in the Old ~Country! Guest guest
>>TSH 0.04 (0.25 - 5.5) FT4 10.6 (9.7 - 25.7) and T3 (can I assume they mean FT3 as secretary did not know?) simply 4. (3.7 - 6.9) Below are my test results from August of this year when I must have been over-medicated. I had a 24-hour thyroid urine done shortly afterwards which confirmed the blood results in this August test - in fact the 24-hr urine test showed FT4 slightly over range, that was the only difference I think: TSH 0.01 (0.25 - 5.5) ft4 18.9 (9.7 - 25.7) ft3 8.9 (3.7 - 6.9) and going back 18 months these were my then results: TSH 1.79 (0.25 - 5.5) Free T4 15.3 (9.7 - 25.7) Free T3 4.4 (3.7 - 6.9)<< Mo I still do not think you were over medicated with the over range T3. I think that was adrenals not allowing it inot your system. You are now hypo. Guest guest
Val: That is a good point. My doc used the urine levels to say I was low in all adrenal hormones and low in T3. I guess saliva is the way to go. -- Re: thyroid test results in..... I assumed he would know what he was doing which is why I used it to confirm the blood test. Mo NOVA Counselling & Healing Services

Guest guest
Mo: I assumed the 24 hour urine was accurate but that was questioned so I figured saliva was the best test. I was low in all adrenal hormones and low in T3, according to the urine. That is all the testing I have had. So with those results I was started on cortef and Armour. -- Re: thyroid test results in..... In a message dated 09/11/2006 01:02:54 GMT Standard Time, smann writes: ...
