Guest guest
I get anxious, but I'm BiPolar as well. Mostly I worry about money. I try not to think about it and then I start getting jumpy, wiggling my feet like crazy. cyn At 08:05 PM 11/1/2004 -0800, Closson's wrote: I have had anxiety before as part of bipolar disorder, but I was wondering if anxiety can be part of fms as well. I have been hyperventilating quite a bit tonight. I'm not worried about anything. Perhaps the pain is getting to me so I feel anxious about that. I don't know. I don't like not being able to feel usefull in my church calling. I can only sit there and do next to nothing. If I force myself to put some effort into anything my breating gets even more intense. I don't need this to deal with as well as depression pain. Oh well, that's my lot in life and I shall live it as best I can. I'm glad I have this group to talk to. It helps me get my feelings out and most of time heard and supported. Guest guest
Dear Mordechai, The source could be any of the things you cited below, or any other drugs being taken for the headache/sinus infection. I just saw a post come through from CT that asked about Afrin nasal spray citing it as " topical " . Anything that touches mucous membranes is not topical; however, one cannot think that topical exposure means you won't get any of the substance systemically. your skin absorbs all kinds of things. In fact, one of the most effective routes of delivery for a drug is via the skin. Think about drug patches (Fentanyl, nicotine, HRT, and now a new diabetic drug). How did Afrin get added to the mix? Guest guest
dear catherine, i don't know if mordechai responded, but a few days after the antibiotics my headaches were no better, they seemed worse actually. my family took me to an ENT and he told me i had a severe form of acute sinisitis that can turn into meningitis or a blood clot if not treated properly. love, ct > > Dear Mordechai, > > > The source could be any of the things you cited below, or any other > drugs being taken for the headache/sinus infection. > > > I just saw a post come through from CT that asked about Afrin nasal > spray citing it as " topical " . Guest guest
I got this a few days ago and responded to it as well as responding to your concern about the sinus infection. Guest guest
Does anyone know about anxiety and autism? I have seen anxiety mentioned in various articles. I have MAJOR anxiety most of the time. Sometimes I take Ativan as needed and sometimes not. It used to be that 30 little Ativan pills lasted me over a year but now it's more like 30 in 3 months. Not a huge pill habit but it means that I am less able to handle anxiety than I was, or maybe that I have more to be anxious about (that's true, actually). Anyway, if anyone knows more about it than that it happens a lot in autistic people I would like to know. Partly I am having anxiety attacks and partly it just seems that I am constantly anxious and stressed out. Rhonda
