" A few " is good! Apparently there have been at least 65 deaths so

far. I took it for about 12 months (sold here as Lipobay) before my

LDLs cleared up (it works!) and it didn't do me anything bad yet,

nothing fatal anyway - but then I don't expect that the heart damage

will show up much before they are through with my post-mortem

examination!

The lawsuits being filed now call for the pharmaceutical company

Bayer to pay for medical checkups life-long for everybody that took

this stuff since the thing is called a " time-bomb " - the damage from

the fatal side-effect can apparently hit you long after you cease

taking the pills.

The good news is that so far it has been fatal only in combination

with certain other medicines and the package insert already warns

against that (if you habitually read package inserts you wouldn't

take any pills at all). How much of all this will stand up in court

is another story yet!
