I have a LBD spouse and he has had this incredible affliction since 2006. We have been through many of the ups and downs for quite a while and it is a journey in itself. I am glad your mom was fortunate in several ways to not know or experience the many facets of this disease. Again, many blessings and sympathies to you and yours. My Mom has Lewy Body Dementia and fortunately we did not have to go through some of the worst of the disease. My beautiful and wonderful mother passed away on October 12, 2011. Actually what took her was acute respiratory failure due to congestive heart failure which started after she was diagnosed. She is at peace now.
