Guest guest
To hear from those members we don't hear from so often, with update on their kiddies! So if you don't post much, but have something you'd like to share from this past year, it would make a great Christmas treat to read about it. Guest guest
> > To hear from those members we don't hear from so often, with update on their kiddies! > I haven't posted in a while, although I'm still reading (just far behind). So I thought I'd respond to this since both children seem to finally be sleeping. is doing so good! I mean so good I can hardly believe this is the same child I was ready to give to the first taker in September. My child who was peeing & pooping on everything & everywhere is almost completely potty-trained!! I can't take any credit for it, she did it all on her own when I finally gave up. She is listening & stopping when I tell her no, she's following direction...what happened? I have no idea. She used to throw food on the floor if she didn't want it, now she picks it up if she dropped something. This last year has been the hardest & most stressful as far as her behavior, screaming, throwing fits, crying, no sleeping, pooping everywhere... then POOF.. like magic she's the most wonderful, well-behaved child I've ever seen. I try to figure out what changed but, as far as I can see there's nothing different that's happened that I can attibute it to. Did any of your children have a huge behavioral change around her age? She'll be 5 in 4 months. So, I'm very happy. I'd be even happier if my 9 month old would learn to walk instead of wanting me to carry her every second of the day but hey, I won't complain. I'm still euphoric over the potty- training! Christmas went well. My family is psychotic but, who's family isn't? opened her presents for the first time ever (her's & everyone else's that wasn't paying attention). Brynn could have cared less about her presents. I hope everyone else had & are having good holidays! Hopefully I will be able to start reading & posting regularly again when school starts in Jan. I miss my daily computer fix!!! Happy Holidays, Tracey mom to: 4 & Brynn 9mos
Guest guest
Tracey! 's progress sounds wonderful! From a purely " mom " oriented point of view, I feel that the ages between 4 & 6 can show HUGE gains in development. I think it is what it is, and congratulations to for gaining such ground. Onward and Upward! Good to hear from you! Keep posting!!! Penny
Guest guest
Tracey: Delighted to hear how well is doing; Putter improved vastly around five, I think. I imagine Tamara is reading your posting with great hope in her heart as Ebony is now much as was. Don't worry about catching up; it is impossible! Just post when it seems appropriate. But I now believe 100% what everyone told me months ago, that you often see huge progress after a horrible regression. This was really the first time something like that has happened. Just getting older maybe? Thanks for the Holy crap! That makes my day!! Tracey

So believe me Tamara, there IS hope! It's amazing how much has happened in such a short amount of time. And like I said before, there really is nothing that we did. It just happened. I'm sure it will happen for Ebony too. Tracey
