Guest guest
Those here who read science-fiction will probably enjoy reading (and showing to others) the science-fiction story " Trucks " by Amy Bechtel — about a neurotypical boy in an autistic-savant world. This story appears on pages 67 - 71 in the current issue of the magazine ANALOG SCIENCE FICTION AND FACT — cover dated " March 2007 " but actually now on sale. (If you can't find it in the magazine sections at large local bookstores or elsewhere, http://www.analogsf.com will gladly sell you a copy.) I can't say much about the story without giving it away — but I wish someone could make " Trucks " required reading for NTs and non-NTs dealing with each other. I subscribe to ANALOG — apparently, subscribers get the issues a bit earlier. So either subscribe, or wait a month. ;-) Kate Gladstone
