I'm sorry, I didn't think of that. I'd add it on, but it

would delete all the votes there already.

I know my BiPolar disorder & Major Depression disorder started when I

was very young. I'd already built quite a shell around myself by the time

I was 12 years old and didn't have any real friends until I was 14, when

I met my best friend and after 38 years she's still my best friend. We

were very much alike, depressed and withdrawn, and something pulled us

together. This was during the late 60's and we were both rebels,

refusing to follow school dress codes and getting involved in the

" underground " scene. All of a sudden we were the center of a

group of people who actually admired us, and we didn't know how to deal

with it. But we remained depressed, and wrote each other notes that we

passed between classes. We both wrote about how we wanted to die...I'd

say that in this time, we both would have been sent to therapy because of

it. Like me, she isn't working right now, and is in a major depression.

But I don't believe she has Fibro. I think the Fibro has caused a lot of

my depression, but I don't think it made me BiPolar. I was definitely

BiPolar as a teenager.
