Guest guest
Hi - Xavier's 2nd band fit differently too though his seemed way to big, it actually covered his eye brows. I would say that CT knows what they are doing and if the red spots are fading you should be ok. Keep us posted! Donna and Xavier DOCband 7/25 and 10/8 --- In Plagiocephaly , " B. So tight, in fact, that if I close the Velcro without pulling or tugging on the band, the Velcro tongue does not go all the way to the end of it's opposite Velcro buddy. Does that make sense? Is that ok? My second concern is that is brachy and this time the OT left very little room in the back for growth. Could she be removing foam from deeper inside and I can only see that top has little room? These are things I would have asked if I had brought . You know...husbands. Anyway, the band is leaving some red marks but they do fade within the hour. Hope all is okay with the fit. My husband spent the night in Miami and had the red spots looked at twice the following day and the OT felt all was well. We leave for Chicago on Monday. I guess if we have problems, we could go to CT while we are up there. Any help would be appreciated. > > B. > Mom to B. > STARBand drop out 8/03 > DOCBand #1 9/4/03 > DOCBand #2 12/18/03 > Miami
Guest guest
Hi : Gotta love husbands sometimes & their lack of questions! (noooo offense to you men in the group!) If you're still concerned with the fit and are in Chicago Monday, I'd first call your Miami clinician & speak with her about your concerns, and maybe go into the Oakbrook/Chicago office IF the red spots stay longer than one hr. I'd say the velcro is ok even if it's not reaching the end of the strip to close it, I don't think Abby's ever did even. Hope he gets the addt'l correction with this band you're looking for. Merry Christmas to you all. Debbie Abby's mom MI > > > My husband brought to CT to get the second band. It fits a > little bit differently than our first band. This time the band seems > tighter. Guest guest
Hi there ! Although I know nothing about the velcro, I have heard quite a few parents comment on how different the 2nd band fit compared to the 1st. The most recent I would say has been Donna and ~Hannah's mom. Good luck getting it all worked out! Let us know how is doing. Merry Christmas!! Dustie --- In Plagiocephaly , " B. " <wbilling@t...> wrote: > My husband brought to CT to get the second band. Guest guest
Hi ! I know I'm a few days late, but how is doing in his band now? Hannah's second one fit way different than her first too. It was much lower and I asked about it all the time, but they always said it was fine. I just saw her head was rounding and they certainly seem to know what they're doing!
