i have been lurking since the incident in nov but i havent forgotten ya i still read the post

anyhow i am sorry for the ones that think i am nuts but anyhow

corbyn is going for his casting later this month we saw the cranial dr, dr colyer and he suggested last week

that since corbyn is worsening and still not sitting up that its best to go ahead with a band he said if it ws his son he would

anyhow i asked about the starband and he said he didnt think it was as good a product but that it was better than no band and gave us a script for it, but i do think we will go with the doc bandi have seen soo many bad fitted starbands, angie did you have any problems with getting the starband to fit properly and why do they have so many that seem poorly fitted and i havent seen any bad fit doc bands is it just that they dont post them or that they fix them faster?

thanks for any info

Hi Anne,

Your rheumy can only give you a suggestion. You can say no to it and

request other medication. I do that with my rheumy all the time. I research

everything before going and getting advice on this board helps a great deal as

well. The doctors can suggest things but hearing from people like we do here

helps.

Hi Anne,

One thing to remember is that YOU have a say it what drug you try or

use next. It is sometime very easy to fall into thinking that the

doctor is the only one with a say. If you want to try MTX or Enbrel,

say so. And thoroughly discuss it with your doctor.

Also if the doctor wants you to try something that you don't want to

try, say so.

I believe the interaction and conversation between you and your dr is

the best way to get a " custom tailored " treatment plan. Otherwise it

makes it too easy for the dr to just follow the same regimen for that

he does for everyone else.

Stay Well,
