Guest guest
Annette-- If you are in withdrawal, the symptoms are caused by withdrawal. When you had these symptoms before the drugs, there was also a reason for them. It was probably strongly related to nutritional status, but there may well have been hormonal issues and situational issues, maybe even spiritual issues as well. You didn't need drugs to treat it then--I'm guessing they made you worse overall--and you don't need them now. The problem is not some mysterious mental illness--the problem is physiological, with possibly some situational/coping problems thrown in. When you have symptoms in withdrawal, they're caused by withdrawal. It is normal to feel lousy sometimes. Everyone has bad days, sometimes several in a row. Don't panic, and don't overreact. Emotions are normal, even very uncomfortable ones. They come and they go. It has to do with the food you eat, how much exercise you've had, the weather, sunspots, your menstrual cycle, your everyday life. People who have been treated for " mental illness " have been taught to pay minute attention to every fluctuation of mood. That is a habit you have to break. Forgive me for not knowing your history...I'm speaking generally here right now. Have you recently made a reduction in dose? Look at these symptoms as just that--symptoms. They come and they go. YOU remain okay. No need to be scared. Take note of your symptoms, then look at your diet, recent events, etc. You'll find a reason for the mood, and you'll know that it is time-limited--just as it would have been back when they put you on the drugs, only then they didn't give you a chance to find that out, or to fix the causes. Now, you have that chance! Reagrds, Kim co-moderator
Guest guest
Don't be scared Annette, try and write down why you are feeling like this? When I start being snappy with people and crying it is usually anxiety for me, then all I have to work out is ways to reduce it. Try some guided mediations they really help, but above all, don't be scared just allow yourself time to heal. You'll be fine With Love
Guest guest
i had these crying feelings before drugs too. i think the best advice is what we fear we create. and i was scared whenever these feeling came and made them much worse because i tried to stop them or avoid them. they always went away and just let me know that something was bothering me... usually too much anxious thinking or lonliness. jason > > Hello all, > > The past few days I have been experiencing what I would describe as > anger at little or nothing ? You are crying to keep your cortisol from raising up too high. Bach Flower Essence Cherry Plum wil help right now. 4 drops 4x a day . If you have moments that are really bad, don't be aftraid to take it PRN (in other words, use it at least 4x a day but you can use it more). This is all part of recovery. There's no need to be concerned. You can also use Ginkgo Biloba if you aren't already. Begin at 60 mg. If this is not enough, go to 60 mg 2x a day. You'll be okay. I promise. Guest guest
, What Annette described is exactly how I was right before I was put on Zyprexa. On the verge of crying all the time and everything closing in. That was almost 4 years ago. Thank God those symptoms have never come back. Getting my blood sugar balanced really helped too. Annette there is hope. Creel wrote: Dear Annette, You said:> The past few days I have been experiencing what I would describe as> anger at little or nothing ?
