Hey, Grace, it's not desperate, it's wonderful. There you are tired and

discouraged and a cheerful word from a fellow creature puts you right again.

Now that's resilience. Be grateful.

Ron:

31 is irrelevant. It's good; it's bad. It depends on what you do with your

31. It does happen to be Enrique's score, but obviously you are functioning

better than Enrique. The test is NOT a dx; it merely notes certain social

traits that are more common among people with autism and family members of

people with autism than the non-autistic control group. You have family

members with autism so your score is not at all surprising. You're fine,

Ron.

Right here with ya, Mel. =)

I HATE WalMart. Don't you know I'm in a hurry?? Get out of my way!!! Ugh.

And it's overwhelming. All the noise and light and STUFF EVERYWHERE.

*shudder* Whenever possible, Matt does the shopping...

Know what you're saying here too. I always seem to end up talking about

myself. Hmmm...

I would hug you, but I bet you don't like to be touched by people you don't

know very well, so I will just say...Welcome! Glad to have you along! ;)

> Did you notice there was no sensory stuff?

A lot of the things were kind of sensory-related, though. It's not just

that you don't like people & can't relate to them...it's also that they move

around too much and smell too strongly (even good smells) and talk too

loudly and...

But yes, I know what you mean, and it would make a difference.

They all are. There is no objective test. It would be nice, wouldn't it?

Simplify our lives many of us.

Well, Jacquie, you were one of the first ones who said that they thought

they were aspergers before. Maybe that is why you and Marc hang in there

together. You both share enough qualities to kind of understand the other?

hated all of those. My point though, is he actually gets MAD when he has to

do one of these! Sheesh.

He knows I think he is. Luckily for me, it seems to be mild, compared to

the boys! That's why I was hoping he'd take the test, I wanted to see MORE!
