Steve and ,

Depending on your primer the paint should peel off rather easily. This is good and bad as has found out. The paint does not stain (or at least mine didn't). I peeled one design off and started over. I'm getting ready to do it again I think, because I'm bored with this design (see na's folder). If you have a tough spot of paint that is not coming off and you want it to, try alcohol. Alcohol will eat through latex paint (according to my FIL who is a painter). So when cleaning up food messes stick with water and paper towels. Remember not to get the inside of the band wet. Alcohol should be the only thing used on the inside of the band.

Hi Steve-I am hoping the paint will come off :)!! Only when I want it to though!! Part of me wishes I would have just used stickers. I know the second I pull up a sticker the paint is going to come right off too!! It already had a little bit on the edges, so I trimmed a little of the paint too, underneath the band was still perfectly white!! I'm not sure if it stains or not.. I used latex craft paint called Delta Ceramcoat (available at Walmart and 's). The sealer coat is where you get to choose matte or glossy. It's a personal choice. I used Delta Ceramcoat Matte Exterior/Interior Varnish applied in thin coats with a foam brush. I have about 3 coats on her band and it's holding up well. It's just started to chip in places because she has been rolling into furniture. If I do it again I'll probably use a glossy sealer. Also, get the small bottle. I got 8 oz which is way too much and it separates over time so I probably need to get a new bottle. You also only need the small bottle of paint. It covers well in 2 coats.

Have fun shopping.
