Guest guest
Hi , Lucky you, being in Germany, Dr. Blecher is just the best, he is so kind and caring. His helmets are a perfect fit. We see Dr. Blecher in London, our son Adam who is just over 6 months old, has had his helmet for just over 3 weeks, his improvement is dramatic about 50% better. If you look in the photo section of the files in this group, under the name Adam, you will see a photo of Adam and Dr. Blecher. he had the helmet on for an hour for testing and then fell asleep. He has had the helmet on for 23 hours each day, right from the start with no problems at all. As for peoples reactions, expect them to stare, people are naturally curious, we don,t care if people stare, Adam will have a nice round head shortly and he definitely doesn,t care if they stare. People tend to think that there is something seriously wrong with Adam because he wares a helmet, we tend to tell people why he is wearing it and a lot of times they know of a child who still has a flat on their head, because the doctors told them it would grow out, which it didn,t, so we like to spread the word, so hopefully other parents can be helped. When you have had the helmet on for a couple of weeks you will just be amazed at the improvement, congratulations on going for the treatment, your very lucky seeing Dr. Blecher. There is another person on this list in Germany from the States, seeing Dr. Blecher, Sandy, her husband is also in the military, her baby Willow has made great progress in a matter of a few weeks. Sandy is great fun, she tells people who stare, that the helmets because she is clumsy and keeps dropping Willow !!!. We bought stickers from an art shop, the helmets look much better with them on. Send our best wishes to Dr. Blecher. Ian, Adele, and Adam. helmet 8th Dec. 03. A happy New Year to everyone. About to start our journey.. > Hi I'm and my 5 month old son his moderate Plagio. Guest guest
I see you have had great responses so I wont repeat them. Welcome to the group. Let us know how the casting goes. Angie and Jenna About to start our journey.. Hi I'm and my 5 month old son his moderate Plagio. We have tried aggressive repositioning for the last two months, but haven't really seen a difference. We are military and in Germany so we are using Dr. Blecher, who I have heard is awesome. is going tomorrow to get casted and then our journey will begin. I'm hoping since he is so young, it won't have to be very long that he will be in it. Is there anyone on here from Germany who has used this Dr? Also, the doctor has told me that in a day or two children this age tend to become one with their helmet? I guess I am somewhat nervous about the entire process and I think the thing I am most nervous about is how people will react to him with it on. I know their are ignorant people out there, and it will probably hurt me more than him. Also, how is the best way to decorate the bands? With what products? Thanks for the wealth of informatin on this board. For more plagio info
