Guest guest
We are military and were told one day that the DOC band was fully covered. Then yesterday we got a call from someone higher up who stated that the DOC band is one of the exculsions for coverage! We are in Germany and in doing research, I've found many in the states who are covered. Is there anyone in Germany who is military that got the DOC band fully covered by Tricare? My husband is fuming and has told me not to worry, that HE will take care of it. I heard someone say they shouldn't have to worry about the health of their child, just because they are stationed outside the US for a brief time and I agree. will have the band whether they pay or not but it's just the principle of the thing. My God, it's his head for crying out loud. Would they rather pay for the band or wait until he is older and have to pay for corrective surgery??? I'm brand new here and already venting. Oh well, guess this is the place, thanks for listening.
Guest guest
We have Tricare here in the States and they did NOT pay. I've heard of Tricare paying, but I'm beginning to believe that it's the exception and not the rule. We are going to be moving to Germany in February so it should be interesting to hear of other's battles. Good luck. , wife to AD Army going to Germany Feb 2004 and mom to 14 months, STARbanded for 5 weeks. --- In Plagiocephaly , " wanmom2003 " <yenko@g...> wrote: > We are military and were told one day that the DOC band was fully > covered. Guest guest
I'm sorry! As a former military wife I can understand your frustration. Their policies are all over the place. We've other military members so I hope they'll chime in on their Tricare payments. Good luck! Natasha > We are military and were told one day that the DOC band was fully > covered.
