Guest guest
Okay here goes..... After being in the military health system for so long and having no clue how the " real world " works! I can't get the hang of this crap! I have a managed care health plan. I have to get refferals from my primary care physician (who I cant stand!!!) to get to see a specialist. I did that. My specialist was a boob! He seems to think that my symptoms (although textbook ACM) are not ACM related. He did tell me that I have a 7mm herniation and diminished CFS flow! WOOPEEEEE tell me something I didn't already know! FIX IT DAMMIT! Anyway, if I were to start seeking care outside my " network " what do I have to do? Can I get my insurance to pay for it? Will Ihave to pay out of pocket for this (which is NOT an option!) I am not sure if I am seeking surgery at this point, just a ACM knowledgable Dr.!!!! (a very rare breed apparently!) I can not under any circumstances pay for this out of pocket...just not feasable right now! I need to know how I can plead with the insurance company to do this! Any info would be helpful! Thanks __________________________________________________
