Guest guest
..I am almost finished reading Dr. Brownstein's book on The Miracle's Of Natural Hormone's..it is very good and doesn't cost but 15.00 plus shipping at: http://www.drbrownstein.com/index.shtml I love all his books and have learned much from them. in N.C. temps still low on Cortef Posted by: " " yoonit@... yoonit Date: Sun Oct 15, 2006 10:37 am (PDT) Well, actually Thyroid-S from Thailand, which I hope is more or less equivalent to Cortef. I've been on 12.5 mg for about 3 weeks now, and don't feel much change..maybe a little less hypotension when I stand up too fast. But I took my temp this morning at 11 am and it was 96.3. So I don't see any temp improvement. I guess this means I need to start Armour? Also wondering if I should try DHEA. The doc said that DHEA should rise on the Cortef. But I'm not sure I believe him. I think I need to find out more about how all the hormones work together. Anybody know of any good books that cover it all? I may have secondary or tertiary adrenal insufficiency, so I need to know how to approach this if it's the pituitary or hypothalamus at the root of my problems. It doesn't make sense to me that just replacing one hormone out of many (30? or more?) is the right way to go.
