My mom has been symptom free for awhile now, but lately she got sick with the flu and now her symptoms (cognitive and physical) have come back. Is this normal, do symptoms flare up whenever there is another problem with the body? In the past her symptoms used to flare up every single time when she had an UTI. However, I have kept those at bay with a cranberry supplement and she has been without an UTI for about 9 months now. I am just curious to know if having aggravated symptoms when there is another illness in the body common in other LBD patients.
