Forgot to mention that (until now, when I am CLEARLY hypo) I did not have any gallbladder problems at all once on thyroid meds. One exception is that I will have a twinge when I eat something with crisco or lard, both of which I avoid.
Guest guest
Oh, , if not the hypo, then the stress! You poor thing!!! Wishing I could e-mail you a spa day, just to get away for a day! I'm so sorry for all that you've been through! (((HUGS!!!))) Would it be better to try to let the HC do its thing for a while, since you have been under a monumental amount of stress, then up the Armour a bit, then test again to see if you need the additional T4? Not feeling well & starting a new job is stressful enough in our situations. But all of the rest?!!! I'm impressed that you're doing as well as you are. Hang in there! You're in my thoughts! Warmly, > > That is possible. I have been trying to increase slowly and have not added > the T4 yet. Guest guest
Sorry, , I'm the wrong person to ask about the HC, since I'm just starting it myself. But please don't underestimate the amount of stress you've been under - not that I want to stress you out more with that! (sidebar - my sister had a " nervous breakdown " a couple of years ago...two kids, working fulltime, husband's a gem - probably adrenal issues, but she's not interested in hearing any more from me about thyroid, et al...anyway, she went to the NP, Nurse - a guy in his early 20's - who said, " So, what's the one thing that's really bothering you most? " That's been our joke ever since...what's the ONE thing that's bothering you? She was snarky, I'm sure, when she told him that she couldn't really boil her life stress down to one issue!) It sounds like you're a strong lady - a survivor who doesn't complain too often. Sounds like you just pull yourself up by your boot straps and get it done. An admirable person, that's for sure. I hope that you give yourself credit for how much you've done & dealt with lately. You are an amazing lady! Take care! Warmly, > > > > That is possible.
