Guest guest
I will find out today when he gets it off. I think. The ortho said 12 weeks and it has been 11 weeks. But I haven't really had it on him the last couple of weeks cause he was sick. Deb Re: People ask the oddest questions... Yeah, I'm sure Aidan just LOVES having that stinky thing on his head. *L* I'll never forget the sales lady in Gymboree who asked me if Jordyn was hitting her head a lot and that's why she had it on. When I told her the band was actually to reshape her head and make it round, she started laughing. I guess she though I was joking. You have to wonder what people are thinking sometimes. :)Hey, when is Aidan due to get his band off? Any estimates yet? & Jordyn (DOCband Grad 12/03)Dallas> When they see Aidan's helmet. As you all know, it has a pretty elaborate decoration on it, so people tend to approach me all the time. The other day I had a handyman come over for an estimate. He saw Aidan, commented on his helmet and how he loved "where the wild things are" then proceeded to ask me "does he wear that for fun?"> erm...> Yes?> > LMAO> Deb w/ Aidan "recreational" DOC 10/21For more plagio info
Guest guest
Welcome to the group. I am surprised that a pediatric nurse didn't know what the band was for. On the other h and there are many people in this group whose pediatrician are totally uneducated about plagio. I think it is neat to put faces with names. I dont think it is corny at all. Good luck with your claaim against Cigna. Angie and Jenna(STARband grad 1/21/03) Re: People ask the oddest questions... Hi :)I am new here but I just HAD to respond to this.My little got her DOC band on 12-22 and and on Monday I took her in for her 9-month check up at her Pediatrician and they hadn't seen the helmet yet even though he knew she had gotten it.I was just APPALLED when his nurse smiled at her and said "Is that because she bumped her little head?" A PEDIATRIC NURSE??!! Geez...I don't know who was more shocked - me or my doctor. It was kinda funny. I asked him when she left " cannot be the first baby you have had in here with a helmet". He just shook his head and said something like "I guess she has slept since then". I could tell he was embarassed. ;)While I am posting, I was wondering, how do I post a picture of my daughter to the Photo page AND...I got a Calander when I was at CT and it was so neat to see some of the babies here in the calendar - I recognized a couple; especially that cutie Hannah. I felt like I KNEW them (corny huh?) ;)I have been reading this site for a while now; ever since I knew needed a band; and I find it warm and informative - So, Thanks for being here...Oh - And I just recently filed a claim against Cigna through Kate Burgess so I will keep y'all posted on how that goes.
