Guest guest
Hi, We have just been to see Dr. Blecher in London, Adam has had his helmet on for 5 weeks. When Dr. Blecher checked his head, the measurement has improved from 19mm to 9mm, so we are over the moon. Dr. Blecher is very happy with the improvement and is hoping to get a perfectly shaped head by the end of the treatment, as Adam is still less than 7 months old.He said we can go back to see him in 4 -6 weeks, we have a 5 hour journey each way. Back in the first week in November, we spoke to a family in Belfast, who had been for treatment to Spain for his son Ross, he told us to ignore all the advice we would get from Doctors and Peadiatricians in England and go for the treatment as soon as possible. This we did, this family are not in this group, but I would like to thank them and also tell you that they took a flight from Belfast to England, then a flight to Spain every month and back for 4 months, for the treatment and also borrowed £4,000 to fund the treatment. I salute them. Best wishes to you all. Ian, Adele, and Adam. Cranio German helmet 8th Dec 03.
Guest guest
Ian, That is just wonderful about Adam's progress! 19-9mm in just 5 weeks is absolutely super, I know you all must be thrilled! You're right, with Adam less than 7 months old, he has a lot of growth spurts left, so you realize a lot more correction! The family in Belfast tells you about treatment, you now tell others... word of mouth can be so impactful upon other lives! Thank you for sharing. Please keep us updated on how Adam and Dr. Blecher's helmet are doing, Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy) > Hi, > > We have just been to see Dr. Blecher in London, Adam has had his helmet on > for 5 weeks. Guest guest
Hello Ian That is awsome to hear such results. Willow also went 10mm in the first 3wks. Thank God for doctor's like Dr. Blecher. I swear I don't know what I had done if we had not had a choice in this. We wouldn't be able to fly to spain for this and Nashville where we are from doesn't seem to have much on banding either as of what I have heard. Good luck and keep that head rounding. ) We had a growth spurt again. Redspots and the fitting is kind of off so we are going in today vs the 19th. I will post the measurments when we get home. Guest guest
Hi, To everyone who replied. We are so happy we started the treatment, and are sure it will just be a great success. I just wish that I can help other parents in England, with their decision making of how to treat plagio. Regards Ian. Re: Update on Adam. Hello Ian That is awsome to hear such results.
