Guest guest
Just an update and a question. My sister has somewhat leveled out, not a lot of ups and downs. I've even begin to wonder if she has been diagnosed, or maybe it is just the meds working. She is eating better and I think that has helped her overall condition. She still has the tremors and rigidity that goes along with Parkinsons, needs help walking and she still goes " on trips " as I call them. She insist that there is a man that comes in her room and does surgery on her without her permission. We've told her they have taken him to jail, but she said he has gotten out. I wonder if she may be dreaming this. However, her memory is fairly good for the most part. My brother-in-law has been seriously ill and she asks about him. If I go a couple of days and haven't seen her, she will say I've not been there in two weeks. Some of the sitters she will call by different names, but she still knows all the family members. She frequently calls out to members of the family who are not there. Has anyone else had a relative that has been diagnosed with LBD, but their memory is still fairly good? Is this something that goes as the disease progresses? This is such a confusing disease!!! Thanks
