Guest guest
Hello, My father has been diagnosed the LBD at the age of 60 years, in Dec 2010 after almost 9 month of Parkinson treatment. Until some weeks ago we were able to slow down the progress of the PD related motor symptoms by treating them with Madopar (4x 125mg). However, we noticed intensification of strong visual hallucinations. Around 2 months ago after intrduction of Exelon (2x1.5mg and 2x3mg),we noticed a negative impact on his motor function by paralel improvement of cognitive function and hallucinations. He started to lost quickly his motor ability. The negative trend has been stopped after removing Exelon from the treatment. However, he was not able to recuperate his motor function even by intensyfying the treatment with Madopar (4x125mg) and Madopar HBS(2x125mg). Any suggestions about the way we can drive the treatment? Do you have nay record about drugs which are giving good results by controling motor function for people suffering LBD?
