My son was on a medication that really worked to keep him dry at night. Now

he doesn't need it any more, but did until about 10 YO. We tried a nose

spray and also a pill, I think it was Anafranil we had for mood reasons, but

a tiny dose. he isn't on anything any more. good luck, Barbra M

I read somewhere recently that it may help to limit the number of times he

visits the toilet during the day to help increase the size of the bladder. A

larger bladder can hold more and should help him to make it through the night.

Might be worth a try . . .

any ideas on this one

Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone has an idea about my sons problem with

wetting at night and frequent urination. He has been toilet trained since

about 6yrs old. He constantly is in the bathroom and at times goes very

little. He also has been wetting during the day now and then. We had an

ultrasound that didn't show anything. I just don't know if medication would

help or what to do.

Does he ever have his testosterone levels checked? I read an article the other day about low testosterone in males and frequent urination, etc.

Just a thought,

Yes we were doing that frequently. With him you can usually tell that because

he will sign " hurt " when he goes :) He has had 2 of those in his past.

Do you know where you read that article? I would be interested in reading

it.

I'm sorry I don't know the name of the magazine exactly, it was a Health magazine that my mom and dad's drug store sends out with their prescriptions.

I'll see if I can dig up anything on the net...
