Thanks to all of you who have posted info. about VagiFem.

I've asked many of my doctors to test my hormone levels, but they all say

it's useless because of the natural fluctuations that occur each month.

However, my vv/vvs totally, and I mean TOTALLY resolves right before

ovulation. No redness, no pain, nothing. Then, about 12 hours later, red

raw skin appears again and it's back to square one. I was using Premarin,

but it didn't really help; in fact, I've actually felt better since I quit

using it, probably because I'm not poking a Q-tip at my already-raw tissue.

Anyway, that's why the doc recommended the VagiFem. I haven't started it

yet, though. Still waiting for my March 16 appt. at the U of M Vulvar

Clinic.

Have any of you had your hormone levels checked?

I was told the same thing by my gyn. That testing

hormone levels is useless, because each woman has

their own " normal " levels and so there is no way to

know if any of them are " out of wack " .
