Guest guest
I feel for you. Hope the IEP goes well. Tuna --- vegasgirl_35 wrote: I have to be at Jacqui's IEP in and hour and a half. I have not even made it to the shower yet. Jacqui was late for school. She would not eat, dress, or get herself ready. Guest guest
Penny, I know about that " lets get it over as soon as possible " Its good they let you have input to the goals though. I know about the morning routine thing too, has to be nagged to get ready, except if he wants to go somewhere in the am, and he's fully dressed. Guest guest
Just some thoughts here... I had two girls that couldn't seem to get dressed for school also. I set a time when we had to leave in order for them to make it to school and we left on time. Period. They were mortified about being seen in their pajamas and managed to dress themselves while in their seats on the way to school. Granted the results weren't entirely pretty, but hey, they were dressed. Would some variant of this work for Jacquie possibly?
Guest guest
You did, you did. Good job, Penny. Here is what you posted. It's okay - you're just getting old, HEE HEE HEE.... >>Jacqui's IEP was today and it was wonderful. I feel like telling my group how crappy other parents have it. Maybe they could offer suggestions. BTW Pam, I owe you a BIG THANK YOU. I printed out stuff from the links you gave me and they copied stuff right from those pages onto Jacqui's goals and objectives! and ... The " wh " questions! Yeeha! The SLP was in full agreement with me that this needs a lot more work. So Thank you all. We reconvene next week to finish up, and I'll post Jacqui's IEP if anyone's interested.<< Re: Today is IEP day > > Penny? Sweetie? How'd it go? > > Jacquie Jacquie - Thanks for asking. I think I posted how it went, but you know what? I'm so completely f***** up right now that I can't even remember. erg. I'll keep reading to see if I catch up with my post. If I don't, I'll post how it went. Overall...very well! Penny - who is losing brain cells every day. :-(

Thanks - I think a variation may work, but as far as which clothes she goes to school in...she wouldn't care. She'd go naked if she could. :-) Penny
Guest guest
So would ! In fact, he's been disciplined for trying to take his clothes off AT school.
