I have found that amazon.com has a good rating system...but then, again, sometimes I disagree with what they might feel is a 'great' book. Do what is best for you. If something works, keep doing it. If it doesn't, then stop. What might work for one won't work for another. It's all a matter of picking and choosing what is best for you. Hope this helps. Also go to your local Borders or book store and see what they might have on the shelf that you can look at before you buy. Lynn

This is the post in question...and, no, I have not had the chance to readany books on fibro. I'm sorry I cannot assist on this one.~EriHi Everyone and Happy Halloween, My neighbor just gave me a book thismorning (donated to her charity) called "The Fibromyalgia Handbook" writtenby McIlwain, a Tampa rheumatologist (he's also written 13 otherbooks). Was curious if anyone has read it and their thoughts. Would alsoappreciate any other suggestions on reading materials that you especiallyliked or found helpful. Hope everyone's having a pain-free or manageablepain day. XOXO ---{--@ Eris_Crocheting_Circle ~NO SPAM ~Pattern & ThreadExchanges~TONS of links! @--}--- 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone.
