Guest guest
Being computer savy is not my thing. Is there anyone out there that will have some answers? I can't change the size of my text. I can't change color, font, etc. This is a new lap top, so I Might be missing something. I got a lap top so I would not have to sit in the office chair and read e mails. My recliner is nice and squishy. I get pop up adds from yahoo that cannot be deleted, clicked and dragged, moved, or closed. I read posts, but there is a ton of text behind adds that I can not view. There are some posts where the words look like they are on top of them. I see that really frequently from Penny in the UK I beleive. My husband is a computer scientist and he can not figure out how to fix this. He said he never saw any pop ups that were that brutal. Maybe someone with more knowlege posting and viewing can help me. I am getting so fustrated!!! Blessings, Barbara
Guest guest
Barbara, I hope someone can answer this, too, because I have the same problem(s), including when you go to a message and the advertisement comes up in between that tells you to continue to message, now I get a popup to download Windows Media Player which I'm paranoid to do because it doesn't seem like the real thing, and when I hit cancel to it, my yahoo messenger screen ends up on top of the support group screen. Happens a lot. Advice anyone? XOXO > > Being computer savy is not my thing. Is there anyone out there that > will have some answers? > > I can't change the size of my text. Guest guest
There is a program you can download for free at Cnet.com; it's called " ad-Aware " . It does an AWESOME job of cleaning up data miners, popups, etc. from your computer; it catches all sorts of things that my regularly-updated Norton Internet Security doesn't! That might help y'all... ~Eri
