some slippery elm and marshmallow root

Both of these herbs have helped many IC sufferers control their pain.

Marshmallow root tea helps many with IC..discussed a lot on their chats.

I got mine at a health food store. Yes, I take it orally. I've been having

a hard time sleeping since I started it. I asked on another list and

someone said it can cause excitability. Of course I am in the 99% of the

people that reacts oddly to things.

Did your urethra burn a lot while you urinated? Or did you have a constant

strange undescribable feeling in that area. Because for me, Sometimes it burns

and sometimes I have a pressure feeling. ughhh... I sometimes can't even

describe it to people. i think that calcium citrate is helping me. I take it 3

times a day and the burning has subsided. Also, I am on 50mg of Elavil and I

think that has definetly contributes to alleviating a majority of the pain.

,

You can buy it by the pound from Frontier Herbs.

http://www.frontiercoop.com/ I buy it by the pound and it costl like $14.00

delivered. The pound lasts me a year. I keep it in the freezer. Please be

aware I have been taking guai for 10 months and had to discontinue herbs

when I started it but marshmallow root was my saving grace when it came to

my bladder. I was hesitant to give it up but the guai has kept my bladder

pretty much happy :-)

I drank this as a tea 3 times a day. If you would like I can tell you

how to make it. It takes no time at all and is such a great help.

Blessings,

Shirley.

I got mine at the healthfood store in a capsule. I am sure they can also be

had in tea. Try a websearch for places to order in the UK.

use it ..... ie as a tea? has anyone got hold of it in the uk??
