Guest guest
If you save the pictures you get off the internet, you could load them in Photoshop and put together a collage that way. You can even use the transparency function combined with the layering options to make it look ethereal and rather spiffy, if you so desire. Good luck, Ari > > I like to cut pictures and words from magazines and > junk mail and glue them to other pictures or attach > them to the refrigerator door in a collage. > > I wonder about grabbing pictures and words from the > internet and whether Photoshop would have preferences > that would allow me to make a collage with my > computer. > > Does anybody know whether Photoshop or another > application can do this? > > ~Bonnie > > __________________________________________________ >
Guest guest
Definitely do-able in Photoshop. A must for collages: get to know the Vector Mask feature. Utilizing vector masks will enable you to create seamless cut outs. Easy and clean with practice. Also get to know your Blending modes and avoid filters as much as possible. (Because the same effects can be created via the Blending options, and these effects can be gotten rid of at any time, unlike filters. There's a lot you can do with Photoshop, and as such, it takes awhile to get to know it " inside and out " . There are a lot of sites out there that have Photoshop tutorials, such as http://www.good-tutorials.com/ Adobe's Studio Exchange is a great resource for tutorials as well as plug-ins, shapes, extensions, etc,.: http://share.studio.adobe.com/ Have fun! a > If you save the pictures you get off the internet, you could load them > in > Photoshop and put together a collage that way.
