I'm going to have a shower and go Christmas AND

Sounds great....I'm jealous. I actually hope it will snow soon. It sure

won't seem like Xmas without snow. We have a few more days, though. Enjoy

your day!

It wasn't that great. :-(

Seems I have taken on more autistic traits than I thought.

First, I wanted to go to department store for a comforter for . NO kids'

comforters left. OK, I can handle that; after all, it's 10 days before

Christmas. The to the hardware store on the corner. IT " S NOT THERE ANYMORE!

I cannot tell you how much that upset me; it just ruined my whole day. I didn't

feel like shopping at all. If I couldn't buy the pliers I wanted at the store

I'd planned to buy them at, what was the point???

Nevertheless, I pushed on. One-quart jars. Nope, noplace that they weren't

ugly.

Groceries. My usual store was busy. I walked in, I walked out. The idea of

pushing a cart through all of those noisy, brightly-clad throngs of people was

TOO MUCH.

I ended up going to the nearly-empty very expensive grocery store.

Came home, Marc asked how my day went. I swept my arms over the pile of grocery

bags and said, " I spent $143, but I don't know if I really bought anything to

eat, " then went into a quiet room and read for two hours.

Jacquie.

I understand.

I have done the same thing. Surprisingly enough, some days are just not made

for shopping.

And like you, when I come home, Shaun wants to know what there is to eat, and

all I can do it shrug and say, " I don't know. "

Cause after all that money spent, it's amazing how there can STILL be nothing

left to eat on the bad shopping days.

I am due to go shopping tomorrow. Christmas shopping. I hate, absolutely HATE

Christmas shopping. (not to be confused with hating Christmas.... but I just

think the meaning of Xmas is lost if you have to shop till you drop for it every

year....>

Can you try again tomorrow? This IS an awful time of year to shop. Truth is,

we should have done all of this back in August..... LOL

I am sorry it didnt go well. At least you got some grocery shopping done. I

hate grocery shopping with JD with a passion. Actually, come to think of it,

I hate any shopping with JD!!!

It is good that you still got to take refuge and read (can you tell I am in

book withdrawal)!

Take care of yourself and hang tough!
