You know what. I don't know about my doctor. I have complained about my chest pain to her lots of times. She pushes on my chest and says 'Oh it only your chest wall" Or it must be your anxiety giving you chest pains. I've had an EEG taken with the chest pains and nothing shows on the machine. Perhaps it is only the anxiety causing it. The echocardiogram I had last week should show alot if there is something to see. Thanks for your concern. I want to get to the bottom of this myself too. I've been seeing her for 25 years so she knows me well and my medical history. I have to look things up on the internet , take it to her, then she does something about it. j

Norma, It could be the Anxiety also.... but that is nothing to just go.. hummm well must just be anxiety and then go to sleep and not wake up you know. Chest pains should always be taken seriously and checked out is all. Am sure you doctor knows you pretty well and knows all your illnesses and such. So no worries if she has all things under control :) hugs... just when you get these pains look into it, and make sure you relax .. what other symptoms you are having with them, and the like okies?? hugs you Huggles you lots ;) Sophia -- Feeling yucky

I have read somewhere that fibro can affect the muscles in

the chest wall, and it feels like a heart attack. I've been having these

pains for years (at least 35 years) and they scared me a lot. I couldn't

breathe...any attempt to draw in air resulted in a sharp pain in the

region of my heart. I'd have to hold my breath for as long as I can, then

slowly try to draw in a small breath. Sometimes the sharp pain is still

there, but usually it goes away. But I'm left with a panic attack,

wondering if it was angina or something like that. I've had a few

echocardiograms, and they show my heart is normal, there's nothing

" bad " showing. Here's the link to the FMS Monograph that I

read, and if you scroll down the symptoms, it has the chest symptoms

listed.

While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone.

I'm glad you liked it Sophia! That was the first place I

went to when I found out I had fibro. It really helped explain all those

bizarre, supposedly unrelated health problems I've been having for

years.
