Guest guest
Are you sure you don't have fleas? ;-} I've been dealing with the itching myself, although it's not as bad as it was. It's still not unusual to find red marks on me from scratchin' the fleas. I was driving to work one morning--in very high heels on a stick transmission--and had to slip the shoe off to scratch the top of it on the brake pedal while I was shifting with the clutch and the left foot. It was this fierce itch that came on very suddenly and it almost hurt. AAAHHHH!!!!! Cortisol cream is good for this. Amy the Redhead

Guest guest
Well, Yahoo had best be just fne; they spent 36 hours in the last day and one-half " doing maintenance and re pairs " and even sent me notices as to when they were starting, and when they were finishing! Guest guest
It ios a VERY common hypothyroid symptom. Low T3 will cause this an on T4 only you almost certainly have low T3. I do nto know if the selenium is making your low T3 worse which si possible but I do know that is what causes that kind of pain., I had it for years while on Syncrap. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I just want to say that Ive just discovered my rt3 problem, so Im not an expert on that...but I have dealt with leg pains and sweeling ankles terribly. For me it seems to be low electrolytes, it helps when I take this liquid elec.Just a thought. Subject: (unknown)To: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, December 16, 2008, 6:58 AM Dear All, I have a question. I have Hashi (for which I take T4 medication) and have suffered for years from aching arms and legs. I am currently following the iodine protocol of the iodine project. A few months before I started all this I took 50 µg of selenium for about 10 days and at the end of this period could hardly walk because of the aches in the arches of my feet, and the connective tissues in my arms and legs where the muscles join the bones (ligaments or tendons, can never remember which is which). The problem calmed, although it didn't disappear completely when I stopped taking selenium. I also have this problem, although not on the same scale, at the end of my cycle. Since I have been following the iodine protocol I have been taking 4 times more selenium and although I still have these aches at the end of the month, and at other times, they are no where near as bad. When I increased my iodine intake by 12,5 mg (2 drops) it seemed to get worse too. My question is "could this be an RT3 problem?". I would like to know what you think. My generalist and my specialist don't think this is a thyroid problem. MacGilchrist

Not sure why this would hurt t3 - doesn't it help with converting? Maybe it was stirring up mercury?
Guest guest
So you think this is low T3? It's good to hear an explanation for all this. Does this mean that I am not converting enough T4 to T3? Or does it mean that I am converting T4 to RT3 and therefore do not have enough T3? Sorry to be pendantic, but I am not as familiar as some of you with this problem. MacG. Guest guest
It is impossible to knwo what is going on except that it sounds as if T3 is low for SOME reason. Beyond that you need to have testing done. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I hope Natasha, you have checked out the Welcome from yesterday that sent out. Please check the meds. They are most dangerous for our LBD loved ones. Depending on what they have given her. And the Doctors usually get it wrong. She is so young. Hope things go better once she figures out where she is. Sometimes they really do better. But first she has to relax. Hugs, Donna R Cared for Mom 3 years in my home and the last year at a nh. She passed away from LBD in 2002. (unknown) Hi I'm natasha im 24 and have been caring for nan a long side my mum and aunty. My nan was diagnosed withLBD10 years agos at the age of 57 she lived alone when diagnosed and up till last thursday she still lived in her house alone, then last thursday we decided she could no longer live there and we moved her too a care home. To say the least she hates it and has been aggressiveshe has punched kicked slapped and scratched the staff to the point where the homes manager wanted her sectioned until they made her managable, which we were against so the manager got her doctor to prescribe so calming medication and is willing to give her a few more days before making anymore decisions. i have been going to see her everyday and she is so scared cause she doesnt know where she is or why they wont let her out that it breaks my heart, but when i visited today the medication had kicked in an she was barely aware i was there. i ould really like to chat with people that are going through the same thanks x
