I did include a slant on that point in my appeal. The crux of the

matter for us is not that they will not cover cranial remodeling,

they just won't cover a DOC Band (they are out of network). So, I am

putting together a final appeal to them, and will reiterate all of

the points from our original appeal and the lack of consistency in

how out of network appeals are decided (you can believe the word

discrimination will be included!).

said sometimes when you bring up they covered a portion, the

insurance company will review the prior claims and go back and demand

payment. It may be worth it to bring that up though.
