That (low cortisol) is certainly the case for me (rather than excess

lactic acid). I have become very " exercise intolerant " because I am

just too sore and weak afterwards...for about a week. But each of

us are at different stages of AF. If you have too much cortisol,

exercise probably feels glorious.

In the meantime, I am looking forward to the day when I'll be able

to exercise again. Once I'm on the other side of this thing, I

don't think I will *ever* take my health for granted again and will

view exercise as a privilege, not a chore.

not even! LOL I still can't tolerate exercise except slow short walks. Even with

my Am high I can't move till around 10AM. Problem is t4 to t3 conversion is

stopped in either low or high cortisol states, and there is where my energy

lies.

The cortisol helps the thyroid hormone get into the cells. If my temp is

low then either I need more thyroid supplementation or more cortisol. I was

hoping to wean off the cortef as it was making me fat so I assumed I did not

need it anymore.

-- Fatigue - good and bad days

I was wondering if anybody had this experience. I am very up and down

in the way I feel. I could feel okay for a few days, then crash for a

couple. I took the TSH blood test a few times (maybe when I felt okay)

and doctor's kept on telling me that I was fine. Well, I thought that

I should take it again when I'm feeling really crappy. Then, finally

the test showed hypothyroidism. I was thinking that perhaps this blood

test is a snapshot at that moment of what's happening in the body and

that it's best to have it when you get episodes as I get. Has anybody

had an experience like this?

Also, this may help when doing the cortisol saliva test too. Since you

have to fill the viles 4x throughout the day, wouldn't it be wise to

make sure your having an " episode of fatigue " even if you have to wait

another day, just to be sure the fatigue is related to adrenals. I

think you can refrigerate your saliva up to two days or so...can't

quite remember...another symptom of mine.

Hee hee, I know about that, all 3 of mine were different so I trusted the

mercury. And what a fool I felt like when I broke that 20 year old

thermometer, it could even have been older. With all the mercury

contamination detox I just went thru. Who would have thunk it would slide

out of my mouth bending over to pet my cat. She was napping in the bath tub

Had she been napping on the carpet it would not have broken.

It is difficult for me to get myself to exercise due to how crummy I feel.

When I start back to work I don't know what I will do. If I can just get

myself to the gym I do OK. For one thing, it is freezing in the gym so that

motivates me. I sometimes wonder why I feel so bad indoors and so good

outdoors in the pool, tho I know they chlorine is lowering my iodine levels.

-- Re: Fatigue - good and bad days

Exercise is a privilege for us and I usually feel very crappy going into it,

but oh well, if I don't do it I will feel just as crappy but if I do

exercise than I'm detoxifying my body and mind. I will never take it or my

health for granted. Blessed are those who feel well!

Funny, because Armour has made me fat and now I'm off that and will be beginning

Isocort on Monday. I think that maybe it could go either way and if you are

gaining weight then you need less or none of it? I'm real tired now, so I hope

I'm making sense.

There are more toxic chemicals in the home than outside. You can learn a great

deal about it in a book called, " The Hormone Deception " . I now have a shower

filter to minimized the chlorine on my skin.
