I will be going back on HC til lthis damned neck is fixed or at least

the pain is gone. I am not abotu to let this wreck my adrenal sagain and

I feel the pain is what is elevating the AM cortiosl. Who knows some HC

may helpo wiht th e pain... I wil start at 4.5 grains of Amrour and

60MCg T3 tomorrow then next week will go to 5 grains Armoru and 60MCG T3.

I have been revisited by FM in the back and sides of the of the neck in the

last month or so.

I guess this is hypo caused by hyper.

Would you agree with me Val that I have indeed been hyper and overmedicated

and that is the cause of the hypo (sleeping afternoons this last month or so

too) and frequent urination etc. ? I would value your opinion.

The afternoon sleeps have stopped since I lowered the Armour by the way. BP

still high and pulse coming down but fairly slowly, 88 right now but 73 when I

awoke earlier.

Weight gain?! Oh no! I was actually hoping that reducing the h.c would help

me lose some........ May as well dream here as in bed by the sounds of it.

Val:

Sorry for all the questions but what about your temperatures? I am still

only at half a grain twice a day cause my temps are always normal. Since

you are increasing your Armour, are you also doing temps or just going by

symptoms?

Well I am seeing a Chiropracter three times a week right now, but I

personally think going hypo has made this ALOT worse and MY treatment

includes bumping the Armour back up. I am adding another 1/2 grain in the

morning and will add another half grain in another week. It is weird but

that high TSH is way out of proportion to the free thyroid levels. While

they are low, they are not horrible. A TSH of >600 is pretty high,

especially for me.

Maybe the withdrawal of cortef has kept your thyroid in the blood? My mom

is on cortef now and she ran out. She now is getting more but she said she

has more pain than before cortef, if she gets off. She refuses to try

thyroid meds since she did not like the side effects when she took them

without cortef but I am sure she is hypoT.

I have been exercising all week, daily. It seems I have much more energy.

I was not able to exercise for a while cause of feeling so crummy. It is

not that I want to exercise, I don't!! But I am wondering if the elevation

of the body temp due to exercising, works like thyroid replacement? Anyone

heard of this?

I only have taken my temp once since back from CO and it was low, but had

decided to wait on labs to know for sure which to increase my T3 or Armour.

I don't think so as I have never even before HC had high levels in the blood, my

T3 has ALWAYS been low.

I'm a big fan of exercising, but one would need to be cautious not to

overdo while experiencing adrenal problems.
