Guest guest
Terry, I get this newsletter and he does a lot of fighting with the Gov because they want to close him and others like him down. It takes away from the " Big Pharma! " as he calls the pill industry. I think he is just a bit to rebellious but what do I know. I think he has a pretty clean company but I don't know how well his stuff works. It might if you used all natural products, but not everyone does. I have been reading him for a while and I just know how angry he is at the Gov. I can't tell you if his stuff works or not. It can't be any worse than all the pills they are giving us. Hugs, Donna R Cared for Mom 3 years in my home and the last year at a nh. She passed away from LBD in 2002. Dementia studies Does anyone know anything about either of these? http://www.naturalnews.com/031818_zeolites_detox.html http://www.naturalnews.com/031821_astaxanthin_brain_health.html
Guest guest
Donna, thanks for your reply. I noticed the Newsletter Editor didn't write either of the articles, but I have sensed a prickly undercurrent on his website. And thank you - for the Welcome note with the list of websites. I've been reading them - one per day (when it's quiet and no distractions). There's a lot of information to digest and a lot of words that I have to stop and look up in the dictionary. But, back to my reason for asking the question in the first place. The first website described a product (zeolites) as useful for " restoring mental clarity " . The second website talked about reducing " oxidative damage caused by LDL, so it may reduce the formation of plaque in arteries. " And then I read the CNN website listed in 's Welcome note: http://www.cnn.com/HEALTH/library/lewy-body-dementia/DS00795.html? iref=newssearch which had the following sentence in the " Cause " paragraph: > " People who have Lewy bodies in their brains also have the plaques > and tangles... Ding. Ding. Ding. I re-read the three websites again. It felt vaguely like the ideas had something in common - as though they were somehow connected - perhaps in the same or adjacent ballparks. But, what do I know? My BIL is " may " have LBD. I'm just starting to learn about the disease. It's all new to me and I feel like such a dunderhead. Perhaps I'm trying so hard to understand LBD that I'm grasping for any glimmer of hope at finding a beneficial treatment. Or - I'm just whistling in the dark. I've read there's no cure for the disease by professionals with letters after their names and years of experience behind them. Donna, thanks again for your comments. I guess this is my round about way of expressing my appreciation for your reply. Terry ------------------ >> 3b. Guest guest
Terry, I never did answer your first question. I haven't tried the natural drugs you are talking about. They may work and then again they may not. But I found that very true with Big Pharma drugs too. I couldn't give Mom any of them. She had a major reaction. And no one believed me until I got her off most of them. Then all the nurses that worked with her told me how well she was doing!!! DuH!!!!! All you can do is try some stuff. And still go low and slow. And do one at a time. Just because MDs have lots of titles after their name doesn't give them a lot of weight with me after the problems I had with Mom after putting her in the hospital. Many MDs still don't have a clue about LBD. It is a dementia that many still don't know much about. Hugs, Donna R Cared for Mom 3 years in my home and the last year at a nh.
