Guest guest
had a shunt revision about 3 weeks ago. Everything seems to be fine - except I don't think it is controling the high pressure headaches. My question - she has an upside down U shaped incision on her head and then about a couple of inches below that is a vertical incision about 2 inches. Everything seems to be healing nicely, except the vertical incision. It has what seems to me to be a very deep scab. At the very top and bottom, the scab is starting to come up (drying) but it doesn't seem that the rest wants to do anything. I lifted up on the end of the scab and it doesn't look like it's healing totally underneath. Still kind of raw looking, but doesn't seem to be any sign of infection. Anyone have any problems like this with an incision healing?
