hi,

sorry it took so long to respond, when jay was diagnosed the doc looked at his psoriasis and then did a blood test (i'm not sure exactly what they tested for). jay has had some benfit using alpha hydroxy acid lotion, i have also heard that using crisco on the psoriasis helps. the other thing that has helped him is oxycodone, for whatever reson not only did it help the pain but it also helped the psoriasis. let us know if we can help any.

psoriatic arthriris is when you get the psoriasis and the arthritis together. normally your skin regenerates once every 30 days (about), with psoriasis it regenerates every 3 days (about). it builds up and fakes because of the faster growth speed

psoriasis can be really weird about coming, and then going away. i am very glad that yours went away . i am sorry that i can't give you more info right know, i am having a really hard week. i will try to give you more info about it soon.

I had something like that happen once. I for some unknown reason got a patch of psoriasis on my arm pit. No one could see it and about every 3 days it would itch and flake a bit then the skin would be shiny and start to regenerate...(sorry all, that sounds gross but it really wasn't cause it was just a small patch, not the whole thing..lol)...then when I got pregnant with my son it went away and I have never had it since....it was strange and I never figured out why I got it, why there and why it went away.. :c)
