Guest guest Posted March 13, 2011 Report Share Posted March 13, 2011 My father has " flow " problems. He was put on Flomax about three weeks ago. Nurse from nursing home called to say that dad is sleeping almost constantly during the day... that he doesn't seem to wake up until 9 at night and then of course can't sleep at night. He says he doesn't want to take Flomax any more because that is doing it to him. He has always slept a lot during the day. When he was home he would get up, shower, eat and go to sleep for about 3 to 5 hours. He would be awake for about 4 -5 hours and then he would be drifting off again. That was his " normal " .
