Guest guest
I just remembered something in a post that I meant to respond to...... Someone's doctor had mentioned that the success rate was about 95% for decompression......something along those lines anyway, I didn't go back and look. Am I alone in thinking that that's a bit high? I mean, I know that those in the group still experiencing post-op difficulties (some more than prior to the surgery, like Rick) are among the minority, but really, 95%? I always thought that it was more like 70/30. I know that it's all still in debate, even by the doctor's.....I just think that when making a decision like this, to have the decompression surgery, people really need to be informed about the " what if's. " I wish we were!! Our nsg was overly optomistic, too. My two cents! (Please don't ask for change! *G*) Wendi
