Guest guest
If the U.S. distribution is beginning in the Pacific Northwest on Friday, April 14, 2006, can the rest of the country be far behind? Also, is the trailer soon to show up on the television?
Guest guest
Wouldn't it be great if Mozart and the Whale put a dent in the ultra negative portrayal of autism in the media? Jerry, are you expecting to be intereviewed by local tv stations, in the next few weeks? Josh and Ron Bass are both repped by CAA, the cream of the crop of agencies and I still know people at ICM, which repped and Me for a while. ICM also reps Stahl, which is why it just took one call to get on " Sixty Minutes. " I also know that eventually, " Psychology Today " wants an interview with and me, but probably closer to the release of our joint biography. It is all up to the audience. If there is one, I will make use of the opportunity to say something helpful. Regardless, it will eventually go to DVD and make a fine educational tool for any of you to use as well as something to enjoy. There is high interest in Spokane, where it was filmed. I am going up there to spend a couple of days talking to various high school and college groups before the screening benefit on the 12th and then it hits theaters there and nearby Couer D'Alene on the 14th. Thanks for your interest. Jerry Newport

" Robin told at least one magazine that in his opinion, Sy had aspergers although it wasn't officially stated in the movie. I'm looking forward to seeing it. I -may- also be looking forward to getting other folks to see it. Seems as if some folks, family included, think I'm just lazy, stupid or crazy, or " just weird. " Would be nice to be able to give an explanation other than my own. Sounds like it might even be a good date movie! <grin> -- B. , another satisfied user of Pegasus Mail Client and Mercury MTA <http://www.pmail.com> <ftp://ftp.usm.maine.edu/pegasus/winpmail/w32-431.exe>

That is because Radha , who played the female character based on my wife turned in a very strong performance. She really did a good " " ; all extremes of her. She made " Isabelle " a provacative but sympathetic character which is in real life. I think the studio is trying to use these initial screenings in small cities to convince a nationwide distributor to buy it. They are talking about other small cities to go to next so it may take some time to hit bigger cities. So advertising is happening locally for now. Guest guest
I hear ya on that one. The last time I went out on a date was in 2002, so I've almost forgotten what it's like to go out on a date. " The truth is, I never fooled anyone about who I really am. People did a good enough job of that on their own. They would create a character of me in their minds, and be thoroughly disappointed when I failed to live up to that. Well, hey, I live in a small city, Duluth Minnesota -- see if you can get them to test it here! :-) -- B. , another satisfied user of Pegasus Mail Client and Mercury MTA <http://www.pmail.com> <ftp://ftp.usm.maine.edu/pegasus/winpmail/w32-431.exe>
