I don't know if any of the children here were autistic, but that does not lessen the extent of the horror here. I remember the DYFS scandals in NJ earlier last year and this definitely reminds me of that. Does anyone here know anything about the foster care system in relation to autistics and other neurologically unique minorities? I am told the system in place for children here is pretty terrible in any case, and I imagine it can be all the worse for those with unique needs. -Ari N.
