Guest guest
I made my first reduction to the antipsychotic drug, Geodon 2 weeks ago, and I am now starting to experience the withdrawal symptoms of this drug that started this Friday. Ugh! It's not fun, I've been feeling anxiety, dissociation, not able to think clearly, and generally feeling weriod in a bad way. I started to panic, worrying about whether I was really going to be able to handle these withdrawals. Forgive me, but I even thought about taking an additional Klonipin to help me cope with these emotions (I know better, but I was just feeling so bad and the anxiety was creepy), but I thought about the Aconitum Nappellus and gave it a try. I can handle my Lexapro withdrawals alittle better then the Geodon w/d. I can't stand the creepy way I feel, the anxiety and dissociative feelings, cloudy thinking, it was just driving me nuts. I simply can not cope, or so I thought. I don't know if it was really appropriate, but I was experiencing the anxiety for quite a while, and it was becoming very uncomfortable for me to tolerate these feelings and I just couldn't take it anymore and then I decided to use the Aconitum Nappellus for my anxiety (I worried about taking it because it wasn't a panic attack, but who knows it might have developed into one if I waited), but I was amazed after around 30 minutes that I started feeling better and had no anxiety and could think clearly again. I used the Aconitum Nappellus one other time this Saturday, like I did on Friday, for the same w/d symptoms, and it calmed me down and I felt energetic and could think clearly again. , I hope it was okay to use the Aconitum Nappellus for my Geodon w/d. My Geodon w/d occurs at the same time each day and just before taking my evening dose of Geodon, so I just needed it to get me through the afternoon, which is the most difficult time of the day for me, because my Lexapro, w/d gets worse at the same time as the Geodon, as well. What a drag. I'm not as freaked out now, knowing that if things get really bad then I can take the Acontinum Nappellus to get me through. I hope that I will eventually become strong enough to cope with the Geodon w/d without the Acontinum Nappellus, but right now I freak when I start feeling the Geodon w/d anxiety and totally creepy, dissociative state of being. If there is something else more apppropriate for the Geodon w/d that can help me cope with the symptoms let me know. To keep you up to date, the diarrhea is much better now and I am able to take all my supplements and vitamins at the required dosages without discomfort.
