Guest guest
Hi Anyone have any ideas what might be located that could be causing a mild aggravating feeling about 7 inches below underarm on left side toward under left breast. I notice it seems to bother me more when I don't have regular bowel movements. Thanks for any ideas. Guest guest
Everyone, I have been asked to share the following information with all of you. ----------------------------------------------------------------- VIH Announces Community Collaborations for Oral Health Care Access Grant Volunteers in Health Care is excited to announce our next grant, Community Collaborations for Oral Health Care Access, in partnership with the American Dental Association and the ADA Foundation. With in-kind corporate support made available through the ADA, and grant funds through VIH, this grant will offer up to $50,000 to each of six recent community oral health collaborations to organize, plan, and increase oral health services to low-income uninsured and underserved children and families. Six months will be provided for initial planning activities and six months for project implementation. Grantees will develop models of care that address local access needs of the targeted populations while building the capacity of community partnerships to create and sustain a system of dental safety net care. To be eligible to apply, community partnerships, through their lead agency, must be nominated by their state dental society. There can be only one nominated partnership per state, and one each from Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. To be considered as a nominee, partnerships must: " include a variety of different partnering organizations, all working together to address oral health access " demonstrate a strong commitment to improving oral health access " attract key institutions to the initiative " constitute a new effort in the community (the collaboration itself must be less than 2 years old) " demonstrate a spirit of volunteerism " have a lead agency that is a non-profit organization or government entity " secure matching funds equal to 25% of the amount of the grant If you believe that your partnership meets these criteria, we encourage you to contact your state dental society in order to be considered by them for nomination and to discuss the process. Additional information about the oral health grant can be obtained by calling Volunteers in Health Care at 1-877-844-8442. ----------------------------------------- Josh Shepherd Resource Center Manager National Center for Farmworker Health (512) 312-5463
