I didn't this time either but as I was reading his posts, I had the same thoughts as are written here. thanks mom for keeping things in line. I have worked with so many people just like you that I see straight through you like glass. You have had 50 to 100 people writing to you and you don't or WON'T listen to ANY OF THEM! THIS SITE IS NOT A DOCTOR'S SITE! WE DO NOT DIAGNOSE OR TREAT FIBROMYALGIA! GO SEE A DOCTOR! IN FACT YOU NEED 2 DOCTOR'S ONE FOR YOUR DISEASE (WHATEVER IT IS) AND ONE FOR YOUR MANY PHYSIOLOGICAL PROBLEMS. IF I HEAR ANYTHING ELSE ABOUT SUICIDE I WILL PERSONALLY BAN YOU! I am NOT a hard ass or non-compaionate person. But I have had Fibro my ENTIRE LIFE and this group and many members over time. I have seen many others like you and I haven't let them get near as far as I have you. BUT I KNOW YOUR TYPE HUN! I have been a PHSYCOLOGICAL COUNSELOR & CHRISTIAN COUNSELOR for many years and I know when someone is PLAYING THE GROUP! WHICH is exactly what you are doing. I also know you will take this letter and do one of 2 things with it! You will SEE I will not let you play this group and make them feel bad and run key members off any longer and you will tuck tail and RUN because your FUN IS OVER! OR you will straighten your ASS UP and seek help and be a PRODUCTIVE part of this group! BUT AS OF NOW YOU ARE TO STOP PLAYING THE MEMBERS AND KEEPING THEM UPSET OVER YOU! if you will go back and read your posts they are NOT even consistant. You have different times on them as when this started & on how long you took them meds.. I normally embrace ALL members with open arms and everyone here knows this. But when I know someone is only here to see how much trouble they can stir up I tend to get deffensive like any Mother. Any Mother gets her feathers ruffled when someone is messing with her young and I am the MOTHER this GROUP is my CHILDREN! AND MY FEATHERS ARE RUFFLED! SO EITHER SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT BUDDY! However, you DO need serious help if you are, indeed, going through what you claim. Fibro is NOT a life-threatening disease! It is painful -- excruciatingly so for some -- it is a bloody challenge, each and every day for many of us -- but you are *not* dying from it. You think you have it bad? I take **15** different meds a day -- for diabetes, thyroid problems, bipolarism, major depression, arthritis, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, carpal tunnel, agorphobia, xenophobia, and chronic fatigue in addition to fibro. I've been told by several doctors that I literally have "too many health problems" for them to be able to help me! I'm not even 40 yet...but I can hardly move around anymore. I have to walk with a cane. I cannot work to help support my family -- and my husband and I have to survive on a little over $700 a month -- my disability -- and our rent ALONE is $1000!! My meds cost around $3500 a month -- so, between rent and meds, which one do you think we pay for? There are many days when I cannot drag myself out of bed...I cannot even take a shower, because I cannot stand up in the tub, and I am too exhausted to list my arms. And I am NOT, by far, the most-afflicted person in this group. Compared to many, I have it easy! So it is NOT the end of the world, sir. Get some damn help -- NOW. Then come back and see us; we'll welcome you with open arms, and be here for you when you need support in getting through your pain and emotional strain. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, pull yourself up, and GET HELP. We all have dealt with psychological problems due to having a chronic illness and many here have numerous chronic illnesses. But this is not a suicide hotline. He needs professional help right now, and I hope that he will seek it ASAP. As you said, we are not doctors here, even though some of us may have medical or counseling backgrounds, and this is not the place for someone to seek treatment or feed their need for attention.
