Guest guest
My day went haywire today. My granddaughter, she'll be 6 tomorrow, coughed all night long with croup, and we took her to dr. and she was given low dose of steroids. And to take her 2 inhalers, etc. Husband watched her as I went to home to give her birthday gifts. Mom loved her new blue jeans and cologne, card and cake, I got her for her birthday today. I am getting better from my sickness I had from Friday, strep throat, sinus infection, weak weak! I took Mom to eat and she did fine, until I was ordering the food, and I looked back and she was gone!!! I was so scared, I finished ordering fast, you have to go to this front desk to order hamburgers. I went outside where she was looking for her man friend, he's not real. She was mad at him for not getting out of the car, and she said, I wonder where he is? I didn't know what she was going to do. She can not walk good at all. I have to hold on to her so she can walk holding on to me when she's not in her wheelchair. But when her mind turns to these people, off she goes without even remembering she can't walk good. I was a nervous wreck from then on, and she did get up again searching, but sat back down. We ate and she was fine. I did have to go get some more water and worried would she still be sitting there when I got back. We took off down the street leaving for me to take her back to her nursing home, and she told me to go back that the man was back at the hamburger place!!! I said, oh he should of got in the car. She said, forget about him, if he didn't get in thats his fault, ha! We talked completely normal all the way back to the home 20 min. away, and I got her out of the car and she said to get him out of the car if he is in there. I wheeled her back to her room, and she got her pjs on and got to bed, happy as a lark. Everything was good then. It got to be scary for me for a while though. At the home she never tries to leave thank God above! in Texas
